Away from the public eye this is what is happening to Medicaid in states controlled by Republicans.  This is their goal is to reduce the safety net for people who are not in the 1%.  Millions of people will lose Medicaid in Republican controlled states because it is their goal of cutting Medicaid dollars will result in tens of thousands of needless deaths per year and will drastically increase the costs to Medicare once a younger and sicker population reaches retirement age.  Then Republicans will point to dramatically increased costs to Medicare which they will say is now "unaffordable".  Remember why.
