Improving the Health Care System

This is my thoughts on the Association of Medical Colleges advertisement:

"You read this and you realize that what AAMC is really saying that ACA is the first step for comprehensive healthcare for all Americans.  The Better Care Reconciliation Act is meaner to Americans by having back ending deeper fiscal cuts to Medicaid over ten years.  What Republicans want is to have your grandma on the street and not in a long term care facility because you can't afford the cost of that care on your own.

The advertisement by AAMC is not nearly strong enough and is not really effective because it is in print not on television.  Where are the billboards, radio, and Sunday morning talk show interviews by AAMC representatives?  Where is the Spanish language media buys?  The rush to pass the Republican senate plan means that large organizations like AAMC are caught flat footed because they are slow to react.

Maybe there is a hidden component of their lobbyists lobbying Congress.  But from what I've heard the Republican senators are not meeting with healthcare lobbyists to see what concerns the medical industry has with the rush to repeal ACA and replace it with the Republican's Better Care Reconcilliation Act (BCRA).
