Obamacare architect Ezekiel Emanuel's insane new 'freedom' is all about taking yours away

You have the freedom to live in fear of having no health insurance coverage.  You have the freedom to live in fear of medical bankruptcy.  You have the freedom to live in poverty when your are unable to work.  You have the freedom to pay your own children's healthcare needs, including genetic disabilities.  You have the freedom to beg on the streets when you have exhausted your economic means to pay for a life threatening illness because Big Health Insurance has placed lifetime limits on your healthcare insurance.  You have the freedom to live life in fear of financial ruin and see your loved ones being denied healthcare insurance because of pre existing conditions.  You have the freedom to pay the maximum amount for prescription drugs that are not on the approved list of medications by your insurance plan  This is the reality of right wing talk about "freedom".  You have to live your life in fear because the freedom that right wing politicians means that you are alone when facing illness and old age.

The libertarian view is that of the egotistical teen age boy who is "the king of the world".  Irresponsible and oblivious to what it means to be civilized in a community.

Conditions in this table appeared on declinable conditions list in half or more of guides reviewed. NOTE: Many additional, less-common disorders also appearing on most of the declinable conditions lists were omitted from this table. Our analysis of rates of pre-existing conditions in this brief focuses on those conditions that would likely be declinable, based on our review of pre-ACA underwriting documents. Our analysis is limited – and our results are conservative – because NHIS and BRFSS questionnaires do not address some of the conditions that were declinable, and in some cases the questions that do relate to declinable conditions were too broad for inclusion. See the methodology section for a list of conditions included in the analysis. In addition to declinable conditions, many insurers also maintained a list of declinable medications. Current use of any of these medications by an applicant would warrant denial of coverage. Table 3 provides an example of medications that were declinable in one insurer prior to the ACA. Our analysis does not attempt to account for use of declinable medications. The President at War – Talking Points Memo

Why the Russia investigation matters to our democracy.  Many people think that it is a distraction the ongoing damage Republicans want to inflict on institutions and the public but who we are as a nation this is a crucial litmus test.  Josh Marshall and his investigative team at Talkingpointsmemo.com has been on point for unraveling and bringing all the disparate lines of inquiry about Trump and his business dealings with Russian financial organs, Putin animosity towards Hillary Clinton, and the use of digital warfare by Soviet intelligence organs to interrupt the American political process that conveys the big picture to the numerous ongoing investigations for the reader.

Johnson Now Iffy On O’care Repeal After News Of McConnell’s Backroom Assurances – Talking Points Memo

Double dealing by Mitch "the Schmoo" McConnell could doom this bill.  The job we, the people, is to make sure that a). corporate media, at both the national and local, has to remain aware and have stories about the Republican Senate version of repeal AHA and b). to keep up the pressure on all Republican Senators through email, fax, in person visits and civil disobedience actions to local offices and civil disobedience actions, and other non traditional actions to show that their constituents are fighting for their lives.

Pence Uses His Medicaid Expansion Plan as Sales Pitch to Governors

Incredible arrogance to tell governors that they have the "freedom" to design their own Medicaid program when the funding will be cut and capped.  How can any governor enjoy the "freedom" when you have a, for example Colorado, 800 million dollars less per year to work with due to expansion, which does not include the cap per individual part for the entire state program?

Ask Mike how can he have a Medicaid program that will be effective in covering qualified people with hundreds of millions of dollars less in funding.  Can you imagine a huge population state like California which would be in the billions of dollars?

Governor's should tell Mike and his boss Trump to become Medicaid recipients and see how their Senate Republican health care plan would work.

READ: Senate GOP Releases Revised Obamacare Repeal Bill – Talking Points Memo

Republicans still want to harm tens of millions of Americans by changing the basics of how Medicaid funds patients.  This kind of "thinking" will actively harm the disabled, elderly, and children.  Think of it this way:  Your grandma will be coming to live with you.  Essentially Republicans are telling you that you will be at the mercy of the Big Health and Big Pharma because they are all for you to have the freedom to lose your coverage due to your moral failing to live a healthy life.

Trump Administration Is Illegally Keeping Out Asylum Seekers, Lawsuit Says | HuffPost

TrumpLanders' treat those seeking asylum this way, cited from the lawsuit,:

"The lawsuit describes several examples of abuses allegedly committed by CBP agents to keep people from seeking asylum at the U.S.-Mexico border. They include: “grabbing an asylum seeker’s six-year-old daughter’s arm and throwing her down onto the ground; holding a gun to an asylum seeker’s back and forcing her out of the [port of entry]; knocking a transgender asylum seeker to the ground and stepping on her neck; telling an asylum seeker she was scaring her five-year-old son by persisting in her request for asylum and accusing her of being a bad mother; laughing at an asylum-seeking mother and her three children and mocking the asylum seeker’s thirteen-year-old son who has cerebral palsy; and yelling profanities at an asylum-seeking mother and her five-year-old son, throwing her to the ground, and forcefully pressing her cheek into the pavement.”

Trump: ‘I Will Be Very Angry’ If Senate Doesn’t Repeal Obamacare – Talking Points Memo

Tyrant Trump sits on his fat a** waiting to sign a bill that would have tens of millions of Americans lose their healthcare insurance in order to pay for the hundreds of billions of dollars in tax cuts for the 1%.  If he doesn't sign the Republican bill that will have tens of thousands of American dying needlessly then he will get "very angry".  Tyrant Trump is a traitor to the oath he swore upon the Bible to the US Constitution.

U.S. Set To Reach Trump's Desired Refugee Cap As Revised Travel Ban Goes Into Effect | HuffPost

Trumpland is a heartless and cruel land.  Refugees are people running from the "mouth of a shark".  Fearing people who are fleeing from war and devastation of their homes is the opposite of who we are as a nation (never the racist/facist "homeland") and as a people.  Every single day Trump spits on the Statue of Liberty.

GOP Rep. On Meeting With Russian For Dirt: I ‘Probably’ Would Have Done Same – Talking Points Memo

He should be kicked out of Congress for wanting to work with a foreign power in the US elections that contravenes US law.  He is willfully stating that he no longer will uphold and defend the US Constitution.  This is what the Republican party has come to- standing for political power by any means possible.
